Why Join Pacer Parents Club?
As a member of the Pacer Parents Club, you will be contributing directly to the educational excellence of Lakeridge High School. Our mission is to support the teachers, administrators, and parent support groups with tools and resources that are above and beyond what the district provides.
Over the years, we have funded advanced technology for the classrooms, equipment for the arts, sports equipment, specialized technology for computer labs, field trips and lab software updates for world language classes, guest speakers, audio-visual equipment and Merit Awards for our most outstanding Seniors. Being a part of these projects is both rewarding and uplifting because they support educational excellence for our young people. They are our future.
Joining is simple.
Fill out your favorite version of the All-In-One Membership Form below, sign it, attach a check for your total, seal in an envelope marked “Pacer Parents Club,” and drop it by the LHS front office. As part of your membership, you will receive a Lakeridge Directory (published in the Fall, usually October) which provides contact information for LHS Staff and most students and families of the Lakeridge community. Directories are available only to Pacer Parents Club members. (Note: Special arrangements for a membership can be made through Dr. Mike Lehman’s office at LHS. Please advise our Membership Chair of this, so we can be sure you get your Directory.)

Getting connected is also simple.
The All In One Form includes a section for Directory Updates, Opt Out, and PacerWire Email signup.
It is beneficial to be on BOTH the School District “ListServ” and the Pacer Parents “PacerWire” Email lists. There is some overlap, but we try to keep it to a minimum. We do not sell, share or publish online the information you provide us for PacerWire or the LHS Student Directory.
LHS Student Directory preparation followed a different methodology this year. The “Directory Information” you provided to Lakeridge High School was included in the LHS Student Directory in accordance with Federal Law (specifically, FERPA) unless you Opted Out entirely or restricted/updated specific information.
Directories were distributed in early November, and handed out in your student’s second period class. If you did not get your Directory, please follow up with your student and their second period teacher first. If this does not help track down your Directory, please contact Cay Borduin.

Why can’t we send payments, donations, and information to you online?
We have looked into it! You would think this would be a no-brainer, but the credit card merchant fees and online payment system fees add up into the thousands of dollars very quickly. Nonprofit organizations having a membership restriction (that would be us) do not enjoy a significant discount for either of these fees. More importantly, multiple revenue collection paths add another layer of complexity to our treasury function, making it more difficult for us to recruit parents to serve in that capacity. Our Auction Committee does use an online payment system for our auction, which is designed for special events rather than year-round availability. Thank you for understanding!
