Pacer Parents wants to take this opportunity to thank those who are serving on our School Board. Your many hours studying the issues, listening to testimony and input, and agonizing over the hard decisions to come are not going unnoticed by your community. You have a long track record of putting our children’s well being and safety first. You are heroes to us. THANK YOU so very much.
And to those who will serve on the Legal Budget Committee and School Configuration Committee, a shout out to you also. Thank you in advance for your ideas, your energy, and your patience and sacrifice in the coming months. You will be on the front lines of our community’s response to unprecedented fiscal challenges. Our greatest hope is that you see these difficult times bring out only the best in our community.
THE CHALLENGE TO ALL OF US
The Obama Administration has send significant Federal Funding Oregon’s way. Will our Legislature use it to help ensure that our schools get badly needed funding? Well… as the old saw goes, “the squeaky wheel gets the grease!” We need volunteers for a Pacer Parents Legislative Committee to help lobby for adequate and stable school funding.
