Co-Presidents’ Message
Dear Pacer Parents,
Welcome to the Pacer Parent Club! This is YOUR parent association and connection to Lakeridge High School! Through the volunteer and financial support of this parent group, we are able to provide Lakeridge with additional resources to help teachers and administrators continue to deliver an exceptional level of education and a broad range of activities for our students. The Pacer Parent Club is the umbrella organization, made up of various sub groups all dedicated to the success of every family at Lakeridge. These groups include athletics, technology, performing arts, band, choir, orchestra, parent education program, and spirit wear.
The Pacer Parent Club is Lakeridge’s primary fundraising organization to help with the “disconnect” between the school’s needs and the budgetary challenges that LOSD continues to face. Our annual auction and other fundraisers endow the Administration with the funds to provide teachers with resources and tools to deliver outstanding instruction to our students. As a result of previous auctions, the Pacer Parent Club has enabled the school to purchase items such as the world language learning lab, Smart boards, computer labs, a kiln, the SPARQ fitness equipment, microscopes, calculators, choir robes, sound and video equipment… the list goes on!
We look forward to another successful year, but it does not come without every parent’s contribution. We encourage you to become a member of the Pacer Parent Club and join other LHS parents, like yourself, committed to making their child’s experience at Lakeridge a memorable one!
